Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga, meaning "Sun" (Ha) and "Moon" (Tha), is the original physical practice of yoga focused on balancing strength and stretch. It helps cultivate ease of mind, reduce bodily pain, and build strong muscles and bones for everyday life. Hatha classes may include Vinyasa sequences--breath-guided movement between postures--and Yin components, which use deep stretches and principles of circulation to enhance flexibility.
Bhakti Yoga

Bhakti Yoga is the path of devotion, love, and surrender to the divine or a higher power. In a studio class, you might practice through chanting, mantra, recitation, guided meditation, and expressive movement to open the heart. Students learn to cultivate deep emotional connection, compassion, and joy while experiencing a sense of unity and spiritual devotion.
Jñāna Yoga

Jñāna means wisdom or knowledge, especially self-realization and understanding the nature of reality. Jñāna Yoga classes guide students through reflection, study, and contemplation to cultivate insight, clarity, and inner awareness.
Karma Yoga

Karma Yoga is the practice of selfless action, focusing on serving others without attachment to the results. In a studio class, you might engage in mindful tasks, partner work, or community-oriented activities that cultivate awareness, compassion, and discipline. Through this practice, students learn how to act with intention, release ego-driven motives, and integrate service and mindfulness into daily life.
